Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears, which correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on the reflexes, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.

There are more than 7200 nerve endings in each of the feet which have extensive interconnections through the spinal cord and brain with all areas of the body.

Reflexology is very effective in reducing stress and anxiety by placing the body's nervous system into a state known as“parasympathetic mode”. In this mode, the body has the ability to heal itself naturally, which in return helps the body to reach homeostasis (a state where in the internal environment of the body is kept constant and balanced), thus giving you a feeling of overall wellness.
